Each player starts the game with 10 life.
You win when you reduce your opponent's life to 0 or your
opponent's deck runs out.
Getting Started
Each player will have a 51(+1 flag card) cards deck.
Set your life counter to 10.
Place your flag card face down on the flag area.
Choose one
of your monster in your deck and place it on the buddy zone. That monster will
be your "Buddy".
Shuffle your deck and draw 6 cards.
Place the top 2 cards of your deck facedown onto the gauge
zone.
Both players will decide who goes first. (scissors paper
stone)
To start the game, both players will flip both their flag
cards face up and shout [Open the Flag!]
Gameplay
Stand all your monsters and equipment in rest.
Draw one card from your deck. (First player do not draw a
card on their first turn)
You may charge your gauge by placing a card from your hand
face down to your gauge zone. If you do, draw a card from your deck. (Optional)
Main phase
You may do any of the following any number of times in any
sequence.
Call a monster to one of the 3 monster zone. (You may only
have a maximum of 3 monster points in play.)
Buddy Call - Each player may perform a buddy call once per
game. You will first place your buddy from your hand to the buddy zone in rest
position and play the call cost if needed. Next, call the buddy from your buddy
zone into play. You then gain 1 life.
You may cast a spell from your hand, paying the cost if
needed.
You may equip one item. You may only have one item in play
at all time. You may replace an existing item by playing a new one.
You may use an [Activate] ability.
Attack phase
Select a monster as the attacking monster. You may also
attack with your equipped item. Rest the attacking monster or item.
Select the target of attack, either a monster your opponent
control or your opponent's player if your opponent's centre monster zone is
empty.
If the opponent's player is hit, decrease your opponent's
life equals to the ATK of the attacking monster or item.
If the opponent's monster is attacked, compare the POWER of
the attacking monster with the DEF of the attacked monster. If the POWER is
equal or higher, the attacked monster is destroyed and placed into the drop
zone.
Counter step- Player may use spells with [Counter] during
your opponent's attack phase. Priority will be with the defending player.
You may initiate another attack if you still have monsters
or items at stand.
Final phase
Players may choose to use an Impact Card during this phase.
If not, the turn will end.
